I am so grateful that I got to raise my children, and now get to watch them raise theirs, in a nation to tells them they can be anything — and then sometimes actually fulfills that promise. I’m also grateful that through this crazy year, so far at least, the four generations of our family have remained free of the virus that is wreaking havoc upon so many other families.
